Mark your calendars for February 15th, 2025, as Veselica Slovak Cultural Organization proudly presents its 11th annual fundraising event—the Veselica Gala. This year’s theme, held on Valentine’s Day weekend, is “love” – a theme that runs deep in Slovak folk songs, dance, and music and is also at the heart of our organization’s mission. From the melodies of Slovak folk songs to the passion of Veselica’s dedication to preserving our cultural heritage, love for Slovak folk song, dance, and music is also a force that unites and inspires us to share the appreciation for Slovak folklore, culture, and the roots from which we come from.
This year’s event’s entertainment guest is Slovak folklore cimbalom orchestra, Rendosovci, traveling from the beautiful city of Košice in Slovakia. The event will be held at the beautiful Belvedere Chateau in Palos Hills, IL just a short drive outside of Chicago. With over 650 guests attending annually, this gala has become a highlight of Veselica’s year. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this wonderful event!
