Veselica restarted its activities after more than two years of complex pandemic times. We are grateful to all who made this possible including our members of the dance and music group, Christ Church in Lombard as well as financial support from Urad pre Slovakov Zijucich v Zahranici (USZZ).
As we resumed our regular practices, we want to invite new members to our dance, choir and music groups. If you love to dance, play a musical instrument, enjoy Slovak folklore and want to meet new people and make new friends, don’t hesitate and join Veselica Slovak folklore ensemble in Chicago.
Come to our practice on Mondays at 6:00 PM in the gym of Christ Church, 2S361 Glen Park Rd, Lombard, IL. No previous dance experience necessary.
For more information on how to join, contact us at veselicasfe@gmail.com.
