Children’s Slovak Folklore Ensemble Veselička is conducting registration of children ages 6 to 14 for school year 2022/23 on August 27, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Slovak Academy of Chicago, 2S361 Glenn Park Rd., Lombard, IL 60148.
The registration will be part of the first school day in the weekend Slovak school. The rehearsals will be held every Saturday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the gymnasium of the Slovak Academy of Chicago starting September 17th, 2023.
Registration is open to all children who already attend Slovak Academy of Chicago as well as children who wish to attend Veselička only. However, all schedules and rehearsals are coordinated with the school. It is highly recommended children attend Slovak language classes as well.
Children ages 4 to 5 years who attend Škôlka at the Slovak Academy of Chicago have Slovak folklore education incorporated in their preschool curriculum. No additional registration or a fee is required.
